Shipping to the European Union: dates, fresh or dried, do not need a phytosanitary certificate to enter the EU. Dates and dried fruit must meet the EU's aflatoxin limits, and you can ask for the analysis of your lot in your inquiry. Shipping to the Gulf: Saudi Arabia asks for an official phytosanitary certificate for fresh produce; in the UAE your importer registers each product in the ZAD system.
